A new dimension for Jazz On Edge: house concerts — intimate settings with a specially invited guest list, music and literary performances, webcast live to the world.
House Concert'cast #2
June 4 2011, Orlando FL:
The Per Danielsson Trio appeared with their latest CD, TIME WILL TELL, full of what the Swedish call känsla—feeling, emotion, soul. Also bringing emotion and feeling to the House'cast stage is Kerouac House writer-in-residence David W. Berner, and in his first Jazz On Edge appearance as a performer, playwright Joseph Reed Hayes releases some never-before heard scenes from his work.
"musical and memorable"

Jazz pianist, composer, arranger, writer and educator
Per Danielsson
has been praised for his sophisticated harmonic, rhythmic
and melodic touch on the piano. A professor at UCF, Per
educates us in the emotional dedication he has to his music.
Joining Per was Marty Morell on drums and bassist
Richard Drexler, with a surprise appearance by
Tamara Danielsson on sax.

House Concert'cast #1
November 13 2010, Orlando FL:
The first Jazz On Edge house/web concert was also the first house concert for Orlando-based Gypsy guitar band The Cook Trio, and featured readings by cookbook author and memoirist Belinda Hulin, and poet Sharon Hoffmann.
"an acoustic energy that is electric"

Two guitars and a standup bass are all that's needed to produce the haunting and beautiful sounds of
The Cook Trio.
Ian and Jason Cook and Kyle Jones demonstrate an artistry that calls back to Django
Reinhardt and looks forward to nights in Paris and days in the hot Florida
sun. The Trio is by turns explosive and serene, and you won't believe how
fast Jason Cook's fingers can move, or how deeply you will be moved.

Belinda Hulin
From Jacksonville by way of Louisiana, author Belinda Hulin brings a tasty love story filled with Cajun passions
and spicy treats. Belinda read from her just-published cookbook/memoir and treated our special guests to
some recipes from its pages.
Sharon Hoffmann
An accomplished poet and journalist, Sharon brings an ace researcher's mind to evocative poetry and warm, intensely detailed stories.
